Bodelwyddan Castle – a story
Bodelwyddan Castle was originally built as a way back home in the 15th century.
In 1850, the mining of lead, which were the main source of income for the summer Bodelwyddan Castle began to decline, resulting in financial hardship for the Williams family.
It ‘was then sold to Lowther College, which turned the castle into a private school for girls, which was until 1980.
There are numerous reports of ghostly events at Bodelwyddan Castle – most of which are not easily explainable.
Strange lights and sounds are recorded around the castle.
